The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) is organising a major public event, the HKIE Fiesta 2017 (the Fiesta), on the theme of “Our Future 2035” on Sunday, 11 June 2017 at the Star Hall of the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre. The Fiesta will tentatively include an exhibition of the latest technological developments in different engineering disciplines, game booths, a robot display and workshops, a Virtual Reality (VR) experience, a flying drone demonstration and a live band as well as various competitions, aims at promoting the engineering profession and enhancing the professional image of engineers among the public.
