Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS), Standards and Calibration Laboratory (SCL) and Product Standards Information Bureau (PSIB) of the Innovation and Technology Commission, the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification (HKCTC) and the Government Laboratory (GL) will jointly organise the World Metrology Day (WMD), World Accreditation Day (WAD) and World Standards Day (WSD) Forum 2019 in late June.

This forum, organised in celebration of the World Metrology Day (WMD), World Accreditation Day (WAD) and World Standards Day (WSD), will introduce the pivotal roles of metrology, accreditation and standards in supporting the QI. The themes of the three World Days this year are:

WMD – The International System of Units - Fundamentally Better
WAD – Accreditation: Adding Value to Supply Chains
WSD – Video Standards Create a Global Stage
