The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) is promoting a mega online event named "Virtual InnoCarnival 2020" (VC 2020) which runs from 23 to 31 December 2020. This event aims to promote innovation and technology (I&T) within the community, to increase public awareness of the importance of I&T to the future development of Hong Kong and to nurture more talent and sustain their passion in this field.​

 

VC 2020 goes virtual and features an array of interesting and informative online activities under the overarching theme of "Collaborate．Innovate．Beyond Imagination". The new virtual format of this year's InnoCarnival aims to enable more members of the public to participate in the activities under the current pandemic situation. ​

 

The nine-day virtual carnival welcomes the whole community to join in the fun and enjoy a wide range of interactive and educational activities, all free-of-charge, including the showcase of local inventions and research achievements, innovation workshops, and webinars, to help them appreciate the benefits and convenience that I&T brings to their daily lives.
