Organised by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILT), the Joint Webinar Series with the theme of “5G Applications for the Logistics and Transport Industry” aims to enhance the participants’ understanding of 5G technology and application. The first webinar titled “The importance of 5G technology in Logistics industry” was held on 3 March 2021. In the webinar, Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, gave a presentation about the application of 5G related technologies in the logistics and supply chain industry.

The APFSIC 2021 organised by the Food Safety Consortium of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was held on 27-28 January 2021 in a virtual format. In the conference, Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, introduced our technologies deployed in the Universal Community Testing Programme (UTCP) which are also suitable for enhancing food safety. In the panel discussion, Mr Wong and other speakers exchanged their views and knowledge about the latest trends and development of food safety technologies.

Organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), Virtual InnoCarnival 2020 (VC 2020) was hold online from 23 to 31 December 2020, having appeared in its first-ever virtual format and greatly enhancing public awareness and understanding of innovation and technology (I&T) in Hong Kong.    LSCM showcased a number of our latest technologies, including Deliverbot, Smart Service Robot and A Virtual Reality System for Strategic Operations Training.  

Organised by HKTDC, SmartHK, Chengdu was held on 25-26 November in Chengdu and with live broadcast in Hong Kong simultaneously. We are excited that Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, was invited to share his view on “New Trends in Smart Logistics” with more than 26,000 business leaders and representatives in Chengdu.

Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) is a flagship event jointly hosted by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service to promote technological application and innovation as a promising solution to enhance the quality of life of the elderly and people with disabilities in both the community and institutional setting.   LSCM showcased a number of our latest gerontechnologies that are suitable for elderly services, including AI Enabled Elderly Call Caring System, Robo-9, Deliverbot, Smart Service Robots, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Monitoring Technologies, as well as Video Analytics for Elderly Rehabilitation Training.  

LSCM was excited to collaborate with Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to organise the Summit together with its Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) on 17 November 2020.    In view of the current development of COVID-19 in Hong Kong, the event was conducted in a virtual format. With the theme of “Tapping the Opportunities of Technology Advancement in the New Normal”, heavyweights from the government and industries gave exclusive insights on the accelerated development of innovation and technology during this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, and how to leverage technologies to cope with the challenges ahead, at the Summit.
