The Expo aims to provide one-stop logistics technology solutions and information on the government funding schemes for local logistics SMEs to boost their competitiveness and productivity. Combining exhibition and demonstration of the best logistics industry practice and sharing of useful information on funding schemes, including the Pilot Subsidy Scheme for Third-party Logistics Service Providers, the Expo will enable logistics SMEs to keep abreast of the latest technological trends of the sector and encourage their adoption of advanced logistics technologies with government funding support.

今年香港分會場以 「 數字與實體經濟融合創新論壇 」 為主題 並於 11 月 24 日下午 與北京主會場活動同步舉行。貫徹落實數字經濟發展戰略和 十四五 規劃綱要戰略部署 提升產業鏈供應鏈現代化水平和全球競爭力 推動數字技術與實體經濟融合創新應用。   全球產業數字經濟大會是產業數字化領域最具影響力的行業盛會自 2019 年至今已成功舉辦三屆 會議規模和影響力不斷增加 每屆參會規模均近 1000 人 線上參會人員過萬人。吸引了國內數十家行業權威媒體的重點關注和報道 傳播力超千萬人次。   本年度香港分會場的主辦單位為物流及供應鏈多元技術研發中心( 及大灣區國際物流供應鏈行業聯合會 ( 會場地點設在 LSCM 在香港科技園的會議室。本次論壇並特別邀請多位行業專家線上分享他們經驗及心得 讓參與者更深入了解各產業鏈供應鏈與數字經濟融合發展的最新行業走勢、先進經驗及未來規劃。

Leveraging on digital technologies and digital data, digitalization creates new business models to make better strategic decisions, improve operating efficiency and reduce human errors. It also transforms the way stakeholders in the industry interact with each other. The smart port initiative aims to promote the adoption of digital technologies to facilitate logistics information flows across the supply chain. As the home of vibrant transport clusters providing a broad range of well-developed services, development of smart port platform is critical for Hong Kong to reinforce multi-modal transport to strengthen the role in the global logistics chain and to promote the development of high end and high value added services.

Jointly organised by the Government of the HKSAR and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the 12th edition of the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) took place on 22-23 November 2022. LSCM showcased several latest logistics technologies developed by the Centre, namely Tele-Control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, Maxbot, Follow-me Robot, and Smart Port. The visitors were interested in understanding how these technologies could help with the logistics efficiency in business operation.

Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) would organise an Inno@E&M Open day 2022 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) from 4 Nov to 6 Nov. it consists of exhibition booths for showcasing I&T solutions, theme tours including visit to DCS plant near Kowloon Bay, Smart Mission, STEM Workshop and Award Ceremony of "Smart@GWIN" E&M IoT Application Challenge. The event is free of charge and ticket reservation is required.

Jointly hosted by the Government of the HKSAR and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and co-organised with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the GIES was the largest gerontechnology public education event in Hong Kong which provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss and form collaboration for broader adoption of gernotechnology.   At the Expo, LSCM showcased a number of the Centre’s latest gerontechnology. Visitors were attracted to the LSCM booth to experience and learn about the Tele-Practice Platform System, Follow-me Robot, Robo-9, Elderly Lifter, 3D LiDAR Bed Monitoring System and Maxbot etc.
