LSCM demonstrated some logistics related R&D projects to our guest, including VR Cave, Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, Electronic Wristband for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution, etc.

A delegation of representatives from the Efficiency Office visited LSCM’s Science Park office on 1 June to learn more about LSCM R&D technologies. The delegation was introduced to the latest LSCM projects, such as Electronic Wristband for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution, and Ultra-wideband Activity Monitoring System, etc.

A delegation of representatives from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department visited LSCM’s Science Park office on 20 May to learn more about LSCM R&D technologies. The delegation was introduced to the latest LSCM projects, such as Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, Electronic Wristband for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution, Outdoor IoT Sensing Network for Tree Management, etc.

On 12 May, representatives from Urban Renewal Authority visited LSCM’s Science Park office. LSCM team introduced and demonstrated our latest technology to our guests, such as Deliverbot, Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, Autonomous Guided Vehicles, VR Cave, etc.

Organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the 2nd Annual Conference on Policy Research and Advocacy was held online on 18 March 2022, with the topic on “Forward and Onward: Challenges and Opportunities in data science and informing social services”. Experts from local social service, public health, academia, information technology, and share of experiences on their work and future possibilities of using big data in informing social services. Dr. Frank Tong, Director (Research and Technology Development) of LSCM, and Mr. David Chung, Senior Project Manager of LSCM, were speakers of the conference to share their insights about “Smart data infrastructure and big data analytics in Elderly Care”.
